Block of the Month
GENERAL MEETING BLOCK OF THE MONTH
Each month at the General Meeting, a pattern for a quilt block is available for our members personal use. Each member who brings a block in to the meeting the following month will have a chance to win all the blocks brought in that month.
This year we are using a special material in each of our blocks (until it runs out). Each block made will coordinate with the previous month’s block. Most months, if you bring in the block of the month block for the drawing, you will receive a companion applique block pattern to put with your other blocks.
No companion block for March. There will be a variety of sizes of blocks because each one will be a new, unique design. I hope you will enjoy making them as much as I have enjoyed designing each block using different colors and patterns.
This year, if a member makes the block from the pattern in the newsletter and turns it in for the drawing, they will also get another free block pattern whether they win the drawing or not.
