The QGI Quilt Show is a biannual event that happens in the fall of odd numbered years.
“A Stitch In Time”
The Quilter’s Guild of Indianapolis presents its biennial quilt show on October 23 and 24, 2015 at Westfield Middle School.
Hours are 10am – 5pm both days. Admission is $10.00. Children under 12 are admitted free.
The 2015 Show theme is “A Stitch In Time” and this special challenge competition invites members to submit quilts that interpret this theme.
Contemporary to traditional, bed quilts to baby quilts, art quilts to wearables, over 400 items will be on display.
Saturday will feature an auction of small quilts that have been made and donated by guild members. There will be a vendor area, with booths representing fabric stores, sewing machines and craft suppliers as well as a refreshment area.
Westfield Middle School is located at 345 W Hoover St, Westfield, IN., near the intersection of US 31 and 181st Street. Check the website for updated information on road construction in the area.
Mary Ellen Straughn is the Chair of the 2015 QGI Quilt Show. She will be assembling a great group to work with her and make this an amazing show. Topping the 2013 show will be tough (because it was so great)–but she plans to put together a group of people to give it a try. Please say yes if she asks for your help.
